Redundancy

Both cables A and B are capable of transmitting data signal and operating the entire sign. If there is a break in the Ethernet chain between Thunderbolt cards, both cables will push data up until the break. This means any single failure, or chain break, between Thunderbolt cards will not cause a visual outage. If there are two breaks in the data chain, video will not be displayed between them.
