Replacing a Hub Card

  1. Open the power supply box.
  2. Disconnect the incoming power in the bottom of the power supply box.
  3. Disconnect the Ethernet cables from both sides of the hub card.
  4. Carefully remove the hub card from the Thunderbolt card by pulling on the top and bottom.
  5. When installing the new hub card: ensure the hub card is properly lined up on the pins of the Thunderbolt card.  Double check alignment prior to turning on.
  6. Reconnect numbered Ethernet cables in descending order to both sides of the hub card.
  7. Reconnect power to the power supply box and confirm proper operation with the Formetco Service Line.
  8. Close the power supply box.

Replacing a Power Supply

  1. Open the power supply box and locate the power supply with the green LED off.
  2. Disconnect the incoming power in the bottom of the power supply box.
  3. Loosen the screws for the red and black wires and slide the wires with the spade connectors out.
  4. Completely remove the screws from the black, white, and green AC power cables.
  5. Remove the screws holding the power supply brackets onto the cabinet.
  6. Remove the power supply and move the mounting brackets and heat transfer tape to the new power supply.
  7. Mount the new power supply in the cabinet.
  8. Replace the red and black wires with red on +V and black on –V.
  9. Reconnect the black (L), white (N), and green (⏚) AC power cables.
  10. Reconnect the AC power to the power supply box and confirm proper operation with the Formetco Service Line.
  11. Close the power supply box.
